Family School Pictures Sign
Hey Everyone! Today I'd like to show you how you can make one thing that you was meant to be used for something else be used for another. I got this chalkboard/corkboard at Joanns for 70% off during one of those end of the season sales. It was originally something crazy like $60, but I got it for only $18! Good steal right!
I think it was originally supposed to be used for people's agendas and keeping everyone on track of things. What I needed it for was displaying the ever changing school pictures of my siblings. My siblings are still in graded school and each year I hopefully get new pictures. I thought this was a great way to display their pictures each year instead of putting them into a boring frame. I decided to write "Family" in the chalkboard. I'd like to redo the writing at some point. THis was in our old house in VA. I'm trying to figure out if I'd like to paint it to go along with our color scheme in this house or even where to put it.
I used the tacks that came with the board, but if you need more you could get more fancy ones at Target or an office supply store. I'd like to get Josh's siblings graduation pictures and put them up here as well. I love how even though this board was meant for agendas, it can actually be used for something else. Family is important to us, so being able to display their pictures is super special!
How do you display kids ever changing pictures?
