Pool Noodle Bed Guard

Hey Everyone!  An update on the post from Friday.  Little man sleeps like his mother and doesn't wake up for anything.  He's rolled out of bed on numerous occasions and did not even wake up.  So in the mean time this is what we'd put together.

But this was just not going to do long term.  We've had a whole bunch of pillows, comforters, and blankets under his bed in case he ended rolled off the bed, which he has.  We stuffed a pillow up under the mattress to act as a barrier.  I had seen on pinterest people using a pool noodle.  So, that's what we decided to do.

First start with a pool noodle.  We got this one from the dollar store.  It's not very big, I've seen bigger ones.  We chose blue because of the color of his sheets.  We also got lucky and didn't need to cut the noodle length at all.

All you need to do is slide the pool noodle under the mattress sheet.

Then what you need to do is pull the sheet tight and make sure the noodle is on the edge.  And that's it!

Hopefully the little man won't roll off the bed now.  We'll still keep the blankets and pillows underneath until we're sure he's not rolling off the bed.  What do you think?
